The County Road Department will repair a collapsed culvert on County Road E-008, in Rincon, in District 5, starting Thursday, Feb. 13.

A culvert is a short tunnel that carries water under a road or embankment. The road will be closed for two days and slated for completion by Friday, Feb. 14. Traffic will be re-routed to NM 140 and NM 154.

Doña Ana County is committed to minimizing traffic disruptions. However, delays are expected during road maintenance. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, follow traffic signs and be cautious near personnel and equipment, in the area.
